Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent, 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience, Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware, Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design, Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools
Nice to Have
Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields, Experience programming with at least one software programming language, Experience with RF measurement equipment, 3+ years of integration, testing and automation experience, Experience in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or related industry, 3+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience, 2+ years of embedded firmware development experience, Experience in software development with object oriented language, Electronics design/qualification experience with radiation environments or radiation tolerant hardware, Experience with development of hardware in loop testing for automotive and/or aerospace systems
What You'll Do.
Design PCBAs including schematic capture and layout
Develop and lead bring up testing
Develop and lead design validation testing
Develop and lead reliability testing
Develop and lead qualification testing
Develop and lead production acceptance test plan development
Participate in design reviews for subsystems
Support debug efforts for your subsystem
Support debug efforts for other avionics subsystems
Support requirement derivation for hardware subsystems
Support requirement traceability for hardware subsystems
Support production efforts for hardware subsystems
Support integration efforts for hardware subsystems
Support on-orbit operation of avionics bus subsystems
Support troubleshooting of avionics bus subsystems
Evaluate hardware health telemetry
Develop processes to troubleshoot issues
Incorporate design improvements for issues
