Security clearance, may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance, The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV), may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer, some travelling, out of hours work
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
NEBOSH National / Construction Certificates, A member of APS, IOSH and/or CIOB, Good IT skills, working knowledge of MS 365: Word, Excel and Outlook, knowledge and understanding of the component parts of CDM 2015, knowledge and understanding of other Health & Safety legislation, Working knowledge of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Current driving license
Nice to Have
A relevant design or construction related qualification, H+S Training capability
What You'll Do.
Delivery of Principal Designer / CDM Services
Production of pre-construction information
H&S files and other associated CDM documents
Ensuring Designer compliance
Reviewing contractors’ documentation including tenders and construction phase plans
Interfacing with clients and design teams on project basis
Conducting site H&S inspections/audits
Advise clients on procurement options and consultant appointment issues
Pro-active in business development of the Services within the Region
Keep updated with current legal developments in respect of construction and associated law

experience of communicating with people at differing levels effectively through oral and written communication
