As a Guidewire Rating Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of rating logic and rating‑related components within Guidewire PolicyCenter. You will collaborate with senior developers, architects, and actuarial partners to support our modernization and cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery. The role works closely with the Senior Manager - Software Engineering. **What you 'll do** * Develop and maintain rating worksheets, rating engines, modifiers, and rating artifacts within Guidewire PolicyCenter. * Configure, write, package, and deploy GOSU code, rating logic, product model changes, and rating tables. * Collaborate with business and actuarial teams to understand rating requirements and implement accurate, maintainable solutions. * Support and maintain integrations related to rating inputs and outputs (including Earnix, lookup services, and external rating data sources). * Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. * Support QA with rating‑focused test cases, defect resolution, and validation of rating scenarios. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in rating logic, product model, and connected rating components. * Participate in Guidewire Cloud upgrades by validating rating behaviour and completing required adjustments. * Monitor system and rating performance and help identify areas for improvement. **What you 'll bring**
