Industry & Context.
May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally, The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, May bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently, Subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures), Exposed to outside weather conditions, May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED
Nice to Have
One year of prior retail or related experience, Good verbal communication ability to interact politely and effectively with customers, Good customer service and organizational detail-oriented, Good reading, writing and arithmetic skills
What You'll Do.
Providing courteous customer service in person or by answering incoming calls
Directing incoming calls to the appropriate department
Assisting with guest questions in store
Operating cash register and/or assisting guests with self-checkouts
Performing/processing guest services transactions
Maintaining understanding of current store programs and product locations
Communicating Company programs
in-store specials and coupons to customers
Maintaining a clean and well-stocked department
Notifying the department lead or manager of any issues with pricing
How You'll Work.
