What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent manufacturing-related experience, Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or supplier quality environment, APQP / PPAP, 8D / DMAIC problem solving, Lean Manufacturing principles, Statistical analysis and quality tools, HVAC products and manufacturing processes, PCBA, motor, sheet metal, copper fittings, valve, heat exchangers, communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, Fluent in English and Mandarin, Proactive, result-oriented, open-minded, and comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment, Willingness to travel 30%–50%, including international travel

Nice to Have

Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing certification, ASQ SQE or equivalent quality certification, Experience acting as a Lead SQE / Technical Mentor, rather than people manager, Prior exposure to global supplier quality systems and audits

Validate effectiveness of supplier preventive actions

Lead Supplier Performance Evaluation

Drive improvement actions for underperforming suppliers

Lead cross-functional supplier improvement projects

Develop supplier quality roadmaps

Apply supplier quality engineering tools

Support supplier quality activities for NPD

Support supplier quality activities for serial production

Perform QBBP Process Audits

Perform supplier re-qualifications

Develop Supplier Engagement Schedules

Train suppliers in APQP / PPAP

Train suppliers in Quality tools

Train suppliers in Problem-solving methodologies

Train project team members in APQP / PPAP

Train project team members in Quality tools
