Must Have
Minimum 1 year sales experience required
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study preferred, Cruise sales experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Selling Norwegian Cruise Line reservations directly to consumers by cultivating and maintaining customer relationships
Making phone calls with the intent of promoting and selling group reservations
driving direct group and individual reservations and sales ensuring a superior customer service experience
Promote sales to direct consumers by initiating calls and acting on leads and/or prospects in order to identify travel needs
Present and explain Norwegian Cruise Line products and make travel recommendations
Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
and identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations
Follow up with consumers in order to close sales
Research and resolve general and specific reservation inquiries
Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing consumers
Maintain consumer prospect lists/contact database in order to identify customer's travel trends
Seek opportunities to promote and sell group reservations based on client travel history
Acquire in depth industry and company knowledge in order to articulate product features
pricing and make recommendations to include promotions
and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades
onboard credits and other shipboard amenities
Contact direct group leads and qualify them based on their group's needs and requests
Make recommendations and secure
and book group space and forward group contract to direct guest
Maintain a relationship with group leader and individual group guest
Attend and actively participate in daily team meetings or relevant sales trainings in order to ensure appropriate sales techniques are being used and accurate information is being communicated to direct consumers
