What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Experience with AI, Ability to explain your approach and how you think, Experience with AI interview philosophy, Experience with AI in recruiting process, Experience with foundational identity and the systems that power relationships between people and content, Experience with polished, social-forward experiences that feel native to Pinterest, Experience with building or evolving cross-platform “social primitives” (e. g. , follows, friends, groups, messaging, recommendations/ML), Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

Background in or passion for commerce and creator ecosystems.

What You'll Do.

Own the end‑to‑end Connections strategy and roadmap

Lead the core experiences and systems that help Pinners connect with people and communities they trust

Translate strategy into measurable product impact

Shape how social shows up on Pinterest

Create cohesive cross‑surface experiences

Drive alignment across a broad product area

Bring together senior leaders and cross‑functional partners around a clear strategy

Enable teams to build on shared components and patterns

and inspire a team of Product Managers

Manage and grow PMs working on everything from underlying systems to consumer-facing social features

Provide coaching and feedback

Foster a culture of product craft

and accountability to impact

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partnering with other Core product teams; Bringing together senior leaders and cross-functional partners (Engineering, Data Science, Design, Product Marketing, Policy, Research, and others) around a clear strategy, success measures, and execution plan; Enabling teams to build on shared components and patterns; Partnering with Policy, Trust and Safety, and Legal teams

Ability to explain your approach and how you think
