What They're Looking For.

Must Have

10+ years experience working in Product Management, Experience managing and developing other Product Managers, Technical degree or equivalent background in engineering, computer science, or a related field

Nice to Have

ideally in autonomous vehicles, robotics, operations management, supply chain management, and/or logistics, Passion for working with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and create effective solutions, Comfortable leading strategy & execution in the midst of ambiguity and a dynamic market, Experience building credibility and relationships within engineering and operations teams, and with external stakeholders and customers

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. was founded in 2018 and has become a leader in autonomous ground transportation committed to a safer and more efficient future for all. The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U. S. Department of Defense. Kodiak is seeking a highly skilled Group Product Manager to drive the development of our Level 4 autonomous trucking solutions across different customer applications. In this role you will both be the directly responsible individual for the full product lifecycle in a specific product area, as well as guide and lead a team of Product Managers with their own lifecycle responsibilities. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth in autonomous systems, product sensibility, business acumen, and cross-functional leadership with a strong understanding of customer-centric product deployment. Responsibilities will include: Product strategy & execution Execution: Work with the end user and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Commercial) to drive the end-to-end process from needs identification to feature implementation, and remove any blockers to ensure the product is deployed successfully to meet the end user’s expectations. Product definition: Define requirements to ensure they meet end user needs. Work closely with Engineering to ensure the right product is built. Prioritization: Prioritize features and adjust for changes in Kodiak’s commercial and competitive context. Performance monitoring: Define and track KPIs, understand the state of our product
