Job Description We’re looking for a strategic and commercially driven Group Manager – Procurement (Direct Materials) to lead sourcing, supplier management and category strategy across a significant spend portfolio. In this senior leadership role, you will drive cost, quality, service, risk and sustainability outcomes while ensuring supply continuity and strong governance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders across Operations, Planning, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver business-critical outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: * Develop and execute category strategies for direct materials, aligned to business objectives, manufacturing needs and risk management * Deliver annual value plans, including cost savings, cash improvements and productivity outcomes, supported by strong financial governance * Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes and contract negotiations, to secure competitive and sustainable supply * Manage supplier performance, drive continuous improvement and foster innovation in materials, processes and sustainability outcomes * Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Planning and Technical/Quality to ensure alignment and successful implementation of sourcing strategies * Lead, coach and develop the two direct reports; set clear objectives, build capability in negotiation, analytics, and stakeholder management.
