What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High school diploma or GED, 1 year experience working with the population supported, Valid driver's license, Automotive insurance, Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs, Provide CPR after certification, Pass background check, Pass drug screen

Nice to Have

Home Manager experience, Proven job performance history, College training preferred, College courses in Human Services, College courses in Social Work, College courses in Management, CPR certification a plus, First aid certification a plus, NCI certification a plus, MedTech certification a plus

What You'll Do.

Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support employees

Manage operations of 1-3 facilities

Lead and direct the work of Direct Support

Interview and hire Personal Care Assistants

Delegate work activities

Prepare employee schedules

Ensure adequate staffing coverage

Perform personal care duties

Implement client's person-centered plans

Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff

Maintain communication with staff

Provide feedback to staff

Standardize procedures

Expedite implementation of person-centered plans

Monitor residential facility

Provide feedback to staff on all three shifts

Maintain harmony between employees clients

Serve as a positive role model

Resolve employee issues

Conduct performance reviews

Ensure employees meet training requirements

Attend required events

Monitor select budget items

Stay within budget guidelines

Provide afterhours coverage

Provide on-call coverage
