What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course), Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (e. g. , Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I), 2-3 years of proven experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments and converting pipeline leads and opportunities into results for the benefit of the client, Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport quickly, and to maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners, Agile and adaptable to work in multiple environments, with presentation skills and comfort presenting in a group environment, Digital savviness across multiple platforms and devices (i. e. Client 360, e-signature, mobile technologies. Comfortable navigating with and for clients)
Nice to Have
Valid DFSA – designated financial services advisor certificate, Active in the local community, developing a solid network in the local community, Familiarity with Group Advantage value proposition, Proficiency with Webex
What You'll Do.
and grow relationships with high-value Group Advantage member clients
Lead Group Advantage onboarding discussions and advice events
Discover client needs and provide value added advice and solutions
Help clients learn how to bank digitally
Propose investment strategies
Recommend borrowing solutions
Communicate with clients to learn about their needs and help them achieve their goals
Provide professional advice and education with an ability to address complex credit and investment needs
concerning both personal and business needs
Participate in RBC at Work Group Advantage events and member onboarding
Leverage technology to deliver on client experience and enable performance and retention
Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client’s banking problems
Implement contact and relationship building strategies
Support new client acquisition in local community
Educate clients of the features and benefits RBC products and services offer
Help clients with digital
banking including mobile

Collaborate with RBC partners to help clients with their goals and key life events; Collaborate with market-leading professionals in Group Advantage, financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to ensure clients receive customized and targeted expert advice
