This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, program cost controls, and pricing and estimating. Partners with the general manager to achieve financial metrics and drive key initiatives in cost control, working capital, process and ERP system improvements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Brings a strategic and operational focus to business unit planning, critical programs and financial operations, with a particular emphasis on delivery of financial plans and improved cost and compliance controls. * Examines financial data to offer insights to senior management for informed decision-making and prepares financial reports that highlight key trends and issues. * Enforces and provides advice on policy and regulation issues as they relate to GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS and internal policies and procedures. * Oversees the month-end close process, ensures proper revenue recognition in compliance with ASC606 and ensures timely and accurate financial reporting for all sites. * Oversees internal and external audits in compliance with SOX and government regulations. * [Manages accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
