## **Advertised Position Title:** Groundskeeper (Part-Time) ## **Job Description:** **Essential Functions:** • Perform grounds keeping tasks such as line trimming, mulching, clean up, litter control and weed removal around the campus grounds. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Knowledge of and safe operation of job-related equipment such as trimmers, blowers and lawn mowers. • Safe operation of power equipment. • The ability and competence to run power equipment safely. • Must be a good communicator both written and oral. • Must work well with others. **Minimum Requirements:** • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) • One year of experience in grounds maintenance. **Job Classification:** Staff **Duty Days:** Varies Semester to Semester **Work Schedule:** TBD **Grant Funded Position:** No - Not Grant Funded **FLSA Status:** United States of America (Exempt) **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Hiring Range** $14.57-$16.40 **Retirement System:** SERS - SERS (Retirement System Classification)
