What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 6 months relevant experience, Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including, but not limited to a shovel, pick, rake, sledge hammer, lawn mower, weed trimmer and leaf blower, Ability to accurately use measuring devices (i. e. tape measure, yard-stick, etc.), Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, Physically agile and dexterous, Ability to operate equipment in a safe and careful manner, Ability to effectively work with others to accomplish tasks, Ability to communicate effectively with associates, contractor personnel and client families, Basic computer skills to enable retrieving and responding to email communications
What You'll Do.
Fertilize and trim shrubs
Inspect assigned work areas for proper standards
Operate lawn and grounds equipment
Remove debris and trash from grounds
Turn down vases and remove wilted flowers
Participate on teams for openings and closings
Determine grave location and layout
Comply with verification procedures
Perform minor repairs to cemetery/building systems
Perform duties associated with cremations
Maintain inventory and comply with cremation regulations
Follow safety rules and ensure compliance
Comply with corporate
Comply with OSHA regulations and Safety and Environmental guidelines
Assist in moving and installing burial vaults
