Ability to do required work, One (1) year of experience or training involving grounds maintenance, gardening, plant care, cultivation, and landscape installation, One (1) year experience plus knowledge of grounds maintenance procedures and techniques, plant material identification and cultural needs, and current horticultural practices, Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license, Must have, or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire, a current Public Pesticide Applicators license, Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary, Ability to demonstrate and use a variety of hand and motorized tools such pruners, loppers, shovels, rakes, hoes, mowers, blowers, edgers, litter picker, chain saw, trimmers, string trimmers, and sprayers

This position is overtime **eligible.** **Monthly Salary:** $3,262 to $4,320 | Range 36 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with [WAC 357-28](https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=357-28) In accordance with [RCW 49.58.110](https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110), the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
