May be required to climb stairs to access equipment for trouble shooting, Will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and other associated personal protective equipment, Position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, Physical requirements are sitting, walking, standing, extensive use of stairs, and access to remote structures, Position is located on a hazardous testing must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency, May be required to work inside and outside throughout the test complex, Position may require individual to travel daily to different areas on site, Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand, may be required to access various locations on the facility, Climbing ladders and platforms may be necessary, All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and company safety standards, Full-time work hours, Position may require occasional overtime, including weekend work, depending on task, Must be dependable and punctual, Shift work may be required, Must be able to travel to support position requirements, This may include travel to and from customer location, which may involve airline travel, In some cases, accommodations can be made for POV, if necessary, Government security clearance may be required in the future

High School Diploma or four years related experience, Valid US Drivers License Required, Must follow strict work area rules and safety protocols, Must be organized and detail oriented, Must be self-motivated, team player comfortable working in a dynamic environment, Must comply with all “drug free workplace” requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer, Physical requirements are sitting, walking, standing, extensive use of stairs, and access to remote structures, Position is located on a hazardous testing must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency, Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication, Must be able to travel to support position requirements, Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others, Must comply with all “drug free workplace” requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions

Full Job Description
The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Exploration Ground Systems, Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs. The Ground Systems Support (GSS) organization is looking for a second shift Technical Integrator to support multiple programs for National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA). The candidate will provide technical planning support primarily for Operations and Maintenance shops to include including Cranes, Doors and Platforms (CDP), Crawler Transporters and Structures (STS), Emergency Egress Systems (EES), Ignition Overpressure and Sound Suppression (IOP-SS), and secondary back-up support to Launch Equipment Shop (LES). A background in production control, preventative maintenance planning, parts and material kitting, logistics inventory processes, and component calibration and cleaning processes are highly desired. Job Requirements:**** High School Diploma or equivalent; four years related experience. Valid US Drivers License Required A background in production control, manufacturing, fabrications and assembly as well as preventative maintenance planning, parts and material kitting, logistics inventory processes, and component calibration and cleaning processes are highly desired. Possess moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, such as Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMS. Technically and mechanically inclined with experience in heavy equipment operations and maintenance, move operations of large objects, lifting/rigging equipment and mobile and/or overhead cranes, forklifts, dollies, and slings. Familiar with the concept of work control and the work order lifecycle. Familiar with the concept of preventative maintenance. Exhibit concise communication skills daily, both orally and written.
