****Job Description:**** For Airbus Defence & Space in Taufkirchen we are looking for a # Ground Segment Systems Engineer (d/f/m) to join the System Delivery Germany team. The department is developing satellite communication systems for civil and military customers. As a Ground Segment Systems Engineer (d/f/m), you will work on the concept, design, development and technical procurement of the Ground Segment extensions and modifications of SATCOMBw and EDRS Ground Segments for new customers as well as for the support of further satellites. You are also In the frame of the procurement activities, you will follow the development and acceptance phase from the Request for Proposal (RFP) up to the final acceptance of the ground segment entities. After acceptance, you will accompany the implementation of the ground segment items into the Ground Segment until they go live in operations. During the operational phase, you are the technical point-of-contact for any anomalies that might occur and support the technical resolution of the issues. This job combines knowledge of several disciplines with the ability to think outside the box. Your location Our site is just a stone's throw away from Munich, the beautiful capital of Bavaria.
