Must Have
one to three months related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience
What You'll Do.
grinding complex radii
upgrading surfaces to a specified surface finish
assist fabricators and welders in making setups
general labor as needed
masking of parts in preparation for blasting and paint
Painting (Brush or roller)
Assist Fabricators and Weld
Basic blueprint reading
perform flat grinding of buckets
perform grinding of weld preps
perform under direction limited upgrade grinding of buckets
perform under direction limited upgrade grinding of wicket gates
operate jib cranes and forklifts to move and position components for optimum grinding performance
jib crane and forklifts to move and position components for optimum grinding performance
Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
Keep Supervisor informed of problems regarding assigned task
etc. as conditions arise
Perform final upgrade grinding on runner to crown/ band weld radii
Perform final upgrade grinding wicket gate final blending
