Amazon's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team is seeking an innovative and experienced Sr MEP Engineering Manager to lead the development and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across our global corporate office portfolio. This role will be responsible for establishing engineering standards, driving operational excellence, and implementing sustainable solutions for over 500 office buildings worldwide. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in building systems with strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities. They will work cross-functionally to develop and execute global engineering initiatives that enhance workplace environments, improve operational efficiency, and advance sustainability goals. This role requires someone who can navigate complex stakeholder relationships, drive data-driven decisions, and balance innovation with cost-effectiveness at a global scale. This role requires up to 10% travel to support global program implementation. Key job responsibilities • Develop and maintain global MEP design standards and specifications for new construction and retrofit projects • Lead the creation and implementation of operational guidelines and standard operating procedures for MEP building systems and equipment • Identify opportunities for performance optimization and energy efficiency improvements across the portfolio • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to regional teams on complex engineering issues • Develop strategies for equipment lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, and system modernization • Collaborate with sustainability teams to advance corporate environmental goals through MEP initiatives • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and innovations for building systems • Establish performance metrics and KPIs for MEP systems and track portfolio-wide improvements • Partner with procurement teams on global equipment standards and vendor management • Support du
