As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling a wide range of electrical fastening products and components including but not limited to your hands, machinery, or various hand tools. Parts will be assembled in accordance with work instructions and blueprints/drawings. It will be your responsibility to complete regular, scheduled quality checks to ensure parts are being assembled up to nVent’s standards. **W HAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** * Work individually or as part of a team to assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product or component of a product according to Work Instructions. * Completes work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions. * Selects and moves production materials as required. * Maintains equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation. * Meets established safety, quality, and performance standards to ensure production schedules are met. * Records accurate information on Manufacturing Order and performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances. * Complies with all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards. Reports adverse conditions, non-conforming products/procedures, and 5S violations to department leader in accordance to escalation procedure. * Adheres to department 5S standards daily. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area. * In accordance with escalation procedure, notify team leader or other appropriate resour
