What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, Minimum of 5 (FIVE) years experience, Experience in grants management roles either at a federal agency, state, city or county government, university or consulting firm, Thorough understanding of Uniform Guidance – 2 CFR 200, including Single Audit requirements, and its application to different types of financial assistance, Ability to quickly understand ongoing processes to develop and implement process improvements, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables, Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts, Ability to identify and address client needs, Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, Demonstrated critical thinking skills, Experience with facilitation and consensus building, Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with others, Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Nice to Have
Prior experience standing up or enhancing full cycle grants management processes and procedures, Prior experience in areas of risk management, internal controls, financial management, program management in federal, state, or local government, Prior experience applying AI‑enabled tools and analytics to grants management functions, including opportunity identification, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, document review, or reporting, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and audit readiness across federal, state or local grant programs, Grants Management certification from the National Grants Management Association or Management Concepts or other equivalent organizations
