What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, At least 1+ (ONE) years of grant-related experience at a federal agency, state, city or county government, university or consulting firm, communication skills, both oral and written, Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills, Ability to quickly understand ongoing processes to develop and implement process improvements, Ability to identify and address client needs, Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, Demonstrated critical thinking skills, Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with others, Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Nice to Have
Understanding of Uniform Guidance – 2 CFR 200, including Single Audit requirements, and its application to different types of financial assistance, Preferred areas of study are public policy, urban studies, public health, education, transportation, business management and administration, general business, or related disciplines, Grants Management certification from the National Grants Management Association or Management Concepts or other equivalent organizations
