Professional **Position Details:** **The Opportunity:** As the **Grant and Contract Administrator** in the **Research and Support Operations department within the Office of Research** you will independently manage the administration of research proposal submissions and award review, including reviewing budgets, leading departmental staff and faculty system-wide, negotiating revisions to contracts, and developing and implementing processes and procedures related to research support. You will be responsible for program results and must regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion in the area of proposal submission and award review. You are additionally responsible for ensuring that all proposals and accepted awards follow applicable regulations and WSUpolicies and procedures; ensuring that the needs and priorities of the University are met; and minimizing the risk to the University to the extent practicable. As a member of the Grant and Contracts Team, the you will also draft and negotiate award agreements, contract agreements, and their respective amendments that are issued to subrecipients under federal and non-federal grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts. **Additional Information:** This is a **full-time**(100% FTE), **permanent** position.
