As a Graduate Intern, you will support the development of intelligent agents that enhance Non-Financial Risk (NFR) management within ING. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying advanced data science, AI, and automation techniques to real-world risk challenges in a highly regulated banking environment. You will work on designing, building, and testing agent-based solutions that support risk identification, monitoring, and reporting processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to bridge data science and risk management while contributing to innovation within the bank. **Role** As a Graduate Intern, you will support the development of intelligent agents that enhance Non-Financial Risk (NFR) management within ING. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying advanced data science, AI, and automation techniques to real-world risk challenges in a highly regulated banking environment. You will work on designing, building, and testing agent-based solutions that support risk identification, monitoring, and reporting processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to bridge data science and risk management while contributing to innovation within the bank. **The team** You will join the Non-Financial Risk team within the CRO domain, based in Amsterdam. The team focuses on managing and improving ING’s Non-Financial Risk processes and frameworks, including areas such as IT risk and operational risk. ING’s Non-Financial Risk team focusses on Cyber Security, Operational Resilience, Fraud management, Physical Security and all other areas that are linked to people, systems, processes and/or external events. We are increasingly leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions, including Co-Pilot agents to improve efficiency, horizon scanning, and control effectiveness.
