What They're Looking For.

Must Have

8+ years in e-commerce, marketplaces or digital retail with business development and commercial management proven track record scaling categories or merchant ecosystems, Demonstrable experience and established relationship in category development for Health & Beauty, Fashion, Home Living, or related retail categories (brands, distributors, wholesalers), Experience managing and developing account management or commercial teams, with a bias for coaching and performance management, Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders across Product, Ops, Marketing and Partnerships, commercial acumen — able to build business cases, set pricing and promotional strategies, and balance short-term performance with long-term strategic growth, Comfortable working with data and analytics to define KPIs, run experiments and make evidence-based decisions, Excellent written and verbal communication skills in presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders

Nice to Have

MBA or equivalent is a plus

Lead and coach Account Management team

Ensure best-in-class merchant operations

Define category growth strategies

Execute strategies through assortment planning

Own and run cross-functional projects

Align priorities with Product

Build and maintain merchant relationships

Monitor category and merchant OKRs

Iterate commercial levers to hit targets

Drive stakeholder alignment

Present business cases

performance reviews and forecasts

Identify new business opportunities

Improve unit economics

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Legal, Marketing, Operations and Analytics; Drive stakeholder alignment and present to senior leadership

Communication Scope

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders

Process & Methodology

Own and run cross-functional projects (product launches, marketplace features, merchant tools, pilot programs) from scoping to rollout and measurement, Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects
