What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain management or related areas, 3+ years in a leadership role, Category experience in Capital categories in an industrial manufacturing company, Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence, understanding of procurement processes, contract law, supplier relationship management, and supply chain technologies, Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, assess risk, and drive strategy in a structured manner, Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of leading high-performing teams incl. geographically dispersed teams, verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills, Ability to travel to Copeland locations/suppliers domestically and globally up to 10% of your time, English and Spanish proficiency
Nice to Have
Master’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or related field, Previous role with a global scope, Technically proficient in reading architectural and mechanical drawings and writing detailed scopes of work

Develop global Procurement Strategies for Capital Commodity Categories
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute spending strategies
Leverage global contracts and negotiate favorable terms
Establish goals to improve trade working capital

Set clear goals and KPIs for the team

Based in Mexico (Saltillo, Reynosa, Monterrey and Chihuahua), you will lead a global team of Commodity Managers and develop and implement Capital Procurement strategies. This role includes managing category strategies across all Copeland locations globally, controlling costs and identifying new savings opportunities, ensuring supplier performance, and aligning procurement activities with the overall business objectives. ## AS A GLOBAL PROCUREMENT CAPITAL MANAGER, YOU WILL: * Develop and implement global Procurement Strategies for Capital Commodity Categories in alignment with the company’s overall business goals and stakeholder priorities. * Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute spending strategies (incl. e-sourcing, RFI, RFP, RFQ and negotiations), identify cost-saving opportunities, drive process efficiency and mitigate risks. * Leverage global contracts and negotiate favorable term
