Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Monitor social and traditional media platforms in real time to identify emerging trends, risks, and notable developments. Use social listening and analytics tools to track conversations, including platforms such as Twitter and Reddit, and support data gathering activities. Contribute to the creation of client alerts, briefings, and reports that translate data into clear narrative insights. Collaborate with analysts to identify viral content or reputational risks and ensure timely client communication. Assist in preparing structured datasets and supporting materials for ongoing analysis and reporting needs. Write concise, insight-driven summaries explaining sentiment shifts, key events, and stakeholder perspectives. Support ad-hoc analysis projects, including validation of data and development of charts or visual outputs when required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any field, with preference for communications, journalism, economics, political science, history, or related social sciences. Strong interest in media, social platforms, news cycles, and the intersection of business, politics, and culture. Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights. Experience producing written reports using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Intellectual curiosity and a strong ability to interpret underlying trends and narratives in large datasets. Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively in team-based environments. Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 5 am–5 pm ET). Benefits: Hourly compensation of $20 for this temporary assignment.
