Full Job Description

We are hiring a Management Consultant to help ING solve complex transformation challenges at enterprise level. This role sits at the point where strategy, operating model and execution meet. You will help leaders make better decisions on how ING organises, governs and improves its way of working so that strategic ambitions can be delivered in a practical and controlled way. You will structure ambiguous problems, assess facts and data, develop clear recommendations, and support leaders in turning decisions into implementation. The work can range from strategy and target operating model design to governance, performance improvement and major change initiatives. In all cases, the purpose is the same: bring clarity, rigour and momentum to topics that matter to the bank. Examples of the type of work you might do include: * Defining a functional strategy or target operating model for a priority domain in COO, Retail or one of the Group Functions like Finance or Risk. * Assessing the impact of new regulations, market trends or internal performance issues on bank priorities * Designing governance, decision-making, team structures or delivery processes to improve execution * Building business cases, management storylines and implementation plans for senior stakeholders * Improving value propositions to better meet customer or internal stakeholder needs **The team** You will join ING’s Global Consulting team, the in-house consultancy within COO Tech & Transformation. The team combines management consulting and technology consulting capabilities and works across the bank on high-priority topics. We support senior leaders on questions that cut across strategy, organisation, governance, execution and performance. Compared with external consulting, the work is less about producing advice in isolation and more about helping ING make decisions that can be implemented in its real operating context.
