Must Have
Bachelor’s, Master 's or Doctoral-level degree in applied statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, health economics, pharmacy, and related quantitative fields, Years of relevant experience in evidence synthesis and statistical analyses in the pharmaceutical, biotech or consulting setting: + 12 years for Master’s degree and +14 years for Bachelor’s degree, Expertise in research design and statistical methods, including estimating survival, pooled treatment effects and other methods to estimate treatment effect, Experience in leading health economic analyses such as cost-effectiveness/cost-utility (e. g. , markov, partitioned survival model), cost minimization, budget impact, and other techniques, as appropriate, Proficiency with modeling and statistical tools such as Excel, WinBugs, OpenBugs, JAGS, R or Python
Nice to Have
AI/ ML techniques and Bayesian statistics is a plus
What You'll Do.
Design and provide methodological leadership in advanced evidence synthesis and statistical analyses
Design and lead health economic models for products at all stages of development and launch
Ensure quality standards are adhered to in all analyses and new methodologies and techniques are adequately assessed and implemented
Plan and conduct statistical analyses of clinical trials
RWE and other relevant data sources and develop supporting technical documentation for statistical analyses and economic models
Work closely with HEOR Product Leads to ensure analyses and models follow product strategy
Monitor and integrate evolving HTA guidelines
and methodological advancements
Foster thought leadership opportunities
Proactively mentor and develop members of the team

## **Career Category** Operations ## ## **Job Description** **Department: Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)** **Job Family: Evidence Synthesis** **Job Type: Full-Time** **Location: Hyderabad, India** **Reports To: Global Value & Access AIN Head** **Position Summary** The Global HEOR Evidence Synthesis Manager plays a critical role in supporting Amgen’s global market access and health economics strategy through contributing statistical capabilities and methodological leadership for evidence synthesis methodologies (meta-analyses & ITCs). This role will partner closely with Global HEOR Product Leads to ensure strong alignment with product strategy.
