_Kickstart your career in Communications and help bring the energy transition to life through powerful storytelling! _ # **Your role** As our Communications Intern, you’ll join the Global Communications team and support how we inform, engage, and inspire colleagues across BDR Thermea. You’ll gain hands-on experience in internal and external communications, working on content, campaigns, and storytelling that strengthen our culture, build our reputation, and support our strategic priorities. This is a hybrid role based in Apeldoorn. We encourage you to spend at least two days per week in the office. The internship start date is flexible, ideally around September 2026. # **Your key responsibilities** Depending on your interests and strengths, you will contribute to: * **Content creation**: Write and edit articles, news updates, and leadership messages for internal and external channels * **Storytelling** : Help turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories that resonate with different audiences * **Internal communications**: Support campaigns that engage employees and bring our strategy and culture to life * **Digital channels**: Help manage and optimise channels such as intranet, internet and social media * **Campaign support**: Assist in planning and executing global communication initiatives and events * **Analytics & insights**: Track performance and engagement metrics to continuously improve communication impact # **What you bring** * You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications or a related field at a university in the Netherlands (WO or HBO-level). * You have a strong interest in corporate communications and storytelling * You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn * You have strong writing and editing skills * You have a keen eye for detail, a critical mindset, and an organised approach * You are comfortable working in English in an international environment **Nice- to-have: ** * Experience with digital tools (SharePoint,
