What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelors Degree in biotechnology or medical related field OR An equivalent combination of education and work experience, Minimum 3 years experience, Cardiac Rhythm Management experience, Field experience in cardiac pacing, Experience with adult education and training, Knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures, Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol, Experience creating multi-media, experiential rich content in blended learning/virtual environment, Ability to work in highly matrixed organization and geographically diverse business environments, Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment

Nice to Have

Preference towards medical sales staff, physicians, or AHPs, Affinity for educating others and a demonstrated ability to simplify and articulate complex topics effectively

What You'll Do.

and in-person new hire and

Lead comprehensive training sessions on safe and effective

Partner with instructional design to evaluate

Partner with Abbott business unit stakeholders to plan

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop

Deliver procedure and product specific therapy train-the-trainer training

Manage partnerships with other Education Specialists and Trainers

Manage peers from Abbott divisions as guest speakers

Lead and ensure positive trainee experience and global

Keep training curricula globally consistent and standardized

Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback surveys

Provide input and subject-matter expertise to relevant groups

Comply with global regulations and requirements

Keep current on developments in the field

Drive a culture of best practices

Apply best practices following adult learning techniques

Own collaboration with other Education Specialists and Trainers
