What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Automotive sales experience with Japanese OEMs, minimum 5-7 years of domestic and international sales experience with proven track record in developing regional / global sales strategies and building a world-class sales organization, Minimum of 3-5 years’ management experience leading and developing a team, Demonstrated success in satisfying OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in a complex, competitive automotive market, Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and sales planning and promotions, verbal and written communication skills are required, emphasizing interpersonal, group presentation, and team facilitation skills across cultures, analytical skills and computer skills are required for budget, business plan forecasting, and business case analyses

Nice to Have

Master’s Degree preferred, Professional international experience is Japanese language skills are an asset

Work with global members of Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Senior Management, Operations and other cross functions; Ensure effective communication across all regions to align regional objectives to those of the corporation and our customers; Provide support for all program launches through the end of our contractual service obligations
