What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, 3 years of experience with Articleship, Experience in fixed asset reconciliation, Experience in depreciation, Experience compiling data for statutory auditors, Experience in Accounts finalization, Experience in month-end close process, Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, excel etc.), Good command of the English language (Speaking and Writing)
Nice to Have
CA intermediate, Recently qualified CA / CMA / ACCA candidates (including those with articleship or mandatory practical training), Experience in SAP, Experience in Swiss or German GAAP companies
What You'll Do.
Handle month-end close for EMEA entities
Finalize financial statements
Prepare Balance sheet reconciliation
Prepare bank reconciliations
Analyze trial balance
Make necessary adjusting entries
Coordinate with auditors
Review & approve invoices
Process journal entries
Create fixed asset register
Maintain fixed asset register
Prepare monthly fixed asset reconciliation
Prepare financial analysis
Assist with accounting for taxes
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the finance team; Coordinating with the auditors; Coordinating with several teams inhouse
Communication Scope
Good command of the English language (Speaking and Writing)
