What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of professional experience in GIS mapping, geospatial analysis, and application development, Advanced proficiency with GIS software platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent tools, programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages used in GIS development, Demonstrated expertise in spatial data analysis, cartography, and map design, Experience developing web-based GIS applications and working with web mapping frameworks, Solid understanding of geospatial databases and spatial data management systems, Knowledge of remote sensing principles and techniques, Proficiency in data visualization and creating compelling geospatial representations, analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, Excellent organizational and project management abilities, Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, communication skills with the ability to explain complex geospatial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms and services, Familiarity with geospatial data standards and interoperability protocols, Portfolio or examples of previous GIS projects demonstrating technical proficiency
