Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geoscience, Engineering, or related technical field, 3–5 years of professional GIS experience, Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS experience with enterprise geodatabases, Hands-on experience with oil and gas infrastructure datasets, Working knowledge of TX811/NM811 submittal processes, Working knowledge of pipeline regulatory frameworks (PHMSA, DOT), Data quality instincts with demonstrated experience auditing, cleaning, and standardizing spatial datasets, Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to ad hoc requests
Nice to Have
Prior experience in oil and gas, energy, or pipeline infrastructure, Experience integrating GIS with enterprise data systems, Familiarity with PHMSA/DOT compliance documentation, Familiarity with T4 or CI-D/CI-X submittal processes, Exposure to data analytics, Exposure to dashboard development (Power BI, Spotfire, or similar), Exposure to spatial tool development, GISP certification or active pursuit of certification, Knowledge of Permian Basin operations, Knowledge of West Texas/Southeast New Mexico regulatory landscape

Full Job Description
**_Job Description:_** Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is seeking a GIS Analyst in Midland, TX, reporting to the Facilities Manager. This role serves as the primary spatial data resource for the Facilities team, responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving GIS data and tools that support oil and gas infrastructure management across operated assets in the Permian Basin ** _General Responsibilities_** * Build and maintain all GIS files (shapefiles, KMZs, and enterprise geodatabase layers) for company-owned and third-party infrastructure including CTBs, flowlines, powerlines, midstream pipelines and connections, SWDs, compression, and metering facilities; keep data current and accessible to all end users * Audit, clean, and standardize all existing GIS data and establish and enforce standards for all future projects * Maintain accurate records of all infrastructure acquired or divested, ensuring the GIS reflects current asset ownership at all times * Ensure GIS data remains aligned with the Master Well Header, Databricks, and other enterprise systems, serving as the spatial layer of record across the organization * Produce physical and digital maps for the Facilities team covering infrastructure layout, route planning, field operations, and project planning * Prepare public notice mapping packages for all new pipelines as required * Support ad hoc mapping and spatial analysis requests from Production Operations, primarily related to infrastructure planning, project scoping, and field logistics * Maintain TX811 and NM811 pipeline data submittals, ensuring new assets are registered in a timely manner and existing records remain accurate * Clean, categorize, and maintain regulated pipeline data to ensure ongoing PHMSA and DOT compliance * Prepare and submit T4 filings, CI-D/CI-X submittals, and supporting documentation for insurance purposes * Assist the Facilities team in planning future pipeline and powerline routes, using spatial analysis to identify
