What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Experience in managing teams, Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role, Experience leading large teams/operations, including a salaried/hourly workforce, in a rapidly changing customer service, manufacturing, production or distribution environment, Experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field, Experience in communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in Portuguese & English, Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Nice to Have

Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques, Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge

What You'll Do.

Manage a team and its leaders

Facilitate information flow between stakeholders

Resolve potential problems affecting customer experience

and engage team during shift

Maintain high levels of safety

Provide team with necessary tools for success

Promote productivity and efficiency improvements

Make data-driven decisions

Solve analytical problems

Maintain customer expectations for on-time delivery

Work with large datasets and operational metrics

Communicate metrics during daily/weekly review meetings

Maintain high standards of operations: Health

Monitor delivery metrics and performance of over 100

Train and provide guidance to area managers

Challenge the status quo

Drive continuous improvement culture

and department performance are prioritized

Align with operation leadership

Ensure adherence to process and area organization

Lead implementation of new processes and improvements

Implement benchmarking process standards

Perform weekly operational planning

Plan leadership team sizing

Plan information technology (IT)

Plan preventive maintenance (PM) of MHE

Perform damage analyses

Coordinate with support functions on change management initiatives

Coordinate with support functions on operational improvement initiatives

Review audits conducted in the operation

Lead audits conducted in the operation

Conduct process audits

Conduct benchmarking audits

Conduct safety audits

Conduct quality audits

Responsible for training and onboarding

Responsible for team development

Ensure progress and goals are realistic and achievable
