Proficient in CAD software – AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Open Roads Designer, Proficient in conducting research, processing field data, preparing topographic and boundary surveys, ROW mapping, writing metes and bound descriptions, and performing survey calculations, Excellent communications skills (verbal and written, including technical writing), Analytical proactive ability to innovate and improvise, Ability to make logical on the fly decisions based on a Geomatics background, Two years post-bachelor's professional experience as a Geomaticist or Survey Technician, Proficient with survey calculations, CAD, and GIS, LSIT required
Nice to Have
Ability to operate field equipment and GIS based software, Data processing experience using Trimble Business data extraction using TopoDOT and/or Leica Cyclone, TxDOT survey experience, Experience with other states' standards
