What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active TS/SCI, 4+ years of experience as a geologist or geoscientist supporting government, DoD, or national security missions, Bachelor’s degree in a Geology, Geoscience, Earth Science, or Geological Engineering field, Experience conducting applied geologic analysis, including soil and rock characterization, hydrology, geomorphology, terrain stability, or environmental assessments, Experience producing written technical reports, assessments, or analytical products for operational or decision-making audiences, Knowledge of geologic data sources and methodologies, including field data, laboratory analysis, scientific literature, and publicly available datasets, Ability to clearly brief senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams on geologic findings, risks, and implications, Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Nice to Have
Experience supporting projects or operations within the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility, Experience with intelligence analysis and DIA analytic standards, Experience with geology of austere, remote, or developing environments, Experience working with MASINT or large or complex geologic datasets, and summarizing findings for decision-makers
