willing to travel, on call 24/7 if necessary, respond promptly in answering assigned phone and email, awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switching gear, and other equipment, including but not limited to falls, electric shock, falling objects, and use safety equipment and utilize safety, attend and participate in all designated safety and training meetings, lifting over 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, standing for long periods of time, willing and able to drive long distances, workday, evening, or night overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays, assume 24-hour on-call duty when assigned, be gone from home for extended periods of time

Must Have

minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes, Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair, knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical, moderate computer skills, Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations, Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards, Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Nice to Have

Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred

What You'll Do.

Maintaining generators

diagnosing and repairing problems

installing and replacing components or entire systems

performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment

Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness

reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair

Install fuel and water supply lines

electrical wiring and controls

and test for proper operation

Be responsible for responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator

Perform work with the awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment

including but not limited to falls

and use safety equipment and utilize safety

attend and participate in all designated safety and training meetings
