What They're Looking For.
Must Have
minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes, moderate computer skills, Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations, ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly, ability to be on call 24/7 if necessary, ability to drive long distances, ability to work workday, evening, or night overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays, ability to assume 24-hour on-call duty when assigned, ability to be gone from home for extended periods of time, ability to pass a DOT physical
Nice to Have
Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance
What You'll Do.
Maintaining generators
diagnosing and repairing problems
installing and replacing components or entire systems
performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment
Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness
reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair
Install fuel and water supply lines
electrical wiring and controls
and test for proper operation
Be responsible for responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator
Perform work with the awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment
including but not limited to falls
and use safety equipment and utilize safety
attend and participate in all designated safety and training meetings
