General Manager — Residential Home Services Kansas City Metro | ~$90M Revenue | PE-Backed Platform Compensation: $160–200K base + up to 50% performance bonus + meaningful equity in a growing platform About the Client This is the flagship operation in a national PE-backed home services platform — a ~$90M residential business spanning HVAC, plumbing, and electrical across the Kansas City metro. With approximately 250 employees and multiple functional departments, this is the largest and most complex brand in the portfolio. The platform is actively investing in operational excellence, leadership development, and growth across its national footprint. This is a business that has already achieved significant scale. What it needs now is a GM who can lead through leaders — someone with true multi-unit caliber who can set the standard for what operational excellence looks like across the entire platform. About the Role You own the full P you leverage it to drive performance. You set the culture. In a 250-person organization, culture doesn't happen by accident. You're intentional about it. You model accountability, transparency, and service excellence, and you make sure your leadership team does the same. You don't tolerate managers who hit their numbers but poison the culture. Direct experience in residential home services (HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical) — this is not a role where adjacent industry experience substitutes easily 10+ years of progressive operations leadership with full P&L responsibility at $50M+ (ideally $75M+) Proven track record leading through a management layer — managing managers, not just managing doers Experience building, developing, and retaining a leadership bench in a high-growth or high-complexity environment Multi-unit, multi-site, or multi-department operational experience with 150+ employees Familiarity with ServiceTitan, Successware, or similar field service management platforms Nice-to-Haves Experience in PE-backed, franchise, or multi-un
