Rotating on-call schedule to respond to maintenance emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays, Regularly lift to 50 lbs, Regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding, Repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement, Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift, Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions, Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding, Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed., Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment., This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years’ maintenance experience in one of the following trades or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience: General Construction, Painting, General Maintenance, In addition to education/experience, 5 years of progressive career experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or research & development facility maintenance., Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators., Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location., Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen., Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line., Ability to obtain an appropriate driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.
Nice to Have
Technical degree preferred., Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses, Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams., Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building automation control systems., Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus., Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
What You'll Do.
Perform a variety of repairs and tasks including but not limited to replacing floor tiles
Perform minor inspections of general building conditions under the direction of a supervisor or a skilled trades’ person.
Directly assist trades personnel as required.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
and restroom tile repairs.
Operate various tools and equipment to perform woodwork
and flooring replacement/repairs.
Respond and provide service and feedback to the customer on work orders while assuring compliance with codes
and industry standards.

All work to be scheduled and completed from a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

The work schedule for this role is Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, however, various hours may be required based on business demand.
