**Gel Prep Operator** **Position Summary** * **Work Schedule** : Rotating 12-hour shift from 7 AM to 7 PM EST, operating on a two-week cycle. Week 1 includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Week 2 includes Wednesday and Thursday. * 100% on-site Join Catalent’s flagship softgel development and manufacturing facility in North America, located in St. Petersburg, FL, with a capacity of 18 billion capsules per year. As a Gel Prep Operator, you will contribute to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical softgels, gaining hands-on experience with multiple technologies and equipment. You’ll also collaborate with the on-site Product Development team to support new product innovations. **The Role** * Weighs and mixes raw materials according to batch record instructions to produce gelatin for encapsulation, supporting the shop floor schedule. Processes master batches and color conversions per SOP and batch record guidelines. * Prepares, blends, and mixes batches under supervision by operating blending equipment and completing batch paperwork in compliance with SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). * Accurately completes documentation related to the gelatin process and updates SOPs for the assigned department as needed. * Cleans, inspects, and sanitizes gelatin receivers and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area. * Follows all safety policies and procedures, including handling of non-hazardous, hazardous, and DEA waste. * Immediately notifies supervision of any deviations from batch records, SOPs, or potential production issues. * Participates in cross-training to perform tasks, operate equipment, and maintain documentation across other production departments as needed. * May be assigned to work in different areas outside of the primary business unit depending on shift staffing le
