What You'll Do.
Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines in a designated area
Mark the area with paint and flags to prevent damage to utility infrastructure
Perform hand digging to unearth gas lines
Develop knowledge and understanding of underground utility infrastructure
and federal damage prevention guidelines
Locate other utilities in addition to gas lines
depending upon the project to which you are assigned
