Troubleshoot furnace related temperature issues
U. S. citizenship is required, Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40., rotating schedule of 4x12 hour and 3x12 hour overnight shifts each week from 8pm-8am, train on our 1st shift for up to 6 months
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent, Must take and pass the Furnace Operator Test with a score of 75%
Nice to Have
Certified forklift driver, Previous experience as a Furnace Operator strongly preferred, Previous experience performing preventative maintenance, Prior Aviation or Manufacturing experience
What You'll Do.
vacuum and Hydrogen Fluoride Ion (HF) furnaces for coating
cleaning and heat treating of parts per written instructions.
Mix coating powders as required per PMS specifications.
Pack and unpack coated parts.
Program controls and monitor operating parameters for furnace runs.
Make routine entries on charts and routing travelers and log data into RFMS along with trace ability records.
Perform preventative and minor maintenance as required.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area
Comply with all documentation (including SOP’s
Setup and run furnace temperature uniformity surveys.
Troubleshoot furnace related temperature issues.
Assemble O. E. M. heat treat coating batches based on alloy.
Must complete OJT operator training after starting
