Must Have
Graduated from accredited school of mortuary science, Current Funeral Director license, Valid state driver's license

What You'll Do.
Facilitate funeral arrangement discussions
Preside over visitation services
Preside over funeral services
Preside over graveside services
Ensure compliance with mortuary regulations
Ensure compliance with health regulations
Ensure compliance with vital statistics regulations
Receive or initiate call to next of kin
Obtain deceased and family contact information
Schedule Arrangement appointment
Perform removals or transfers
Care for deceased respectfully
Update removal status in software
Facilitate Arrangements Conference
Assess needs and summarize outcomes
Discuss life insurance and benefits
Promote funeral services and merchandise
Promote cemetery services and merchandise
Promote crematory services and merchandise
Present cemetery property options
Present merchandise options
Review merchandise contract revisions
Authorize service contract revisions
Confirm authorization to proceed with service
Serve as Master of Ceremonies
Inspect deceased and adjust attire
Communicate concerns to preparation staff
Inspect Services Arrangements against contract
Initiate corrective action for services
Fulfill death care requests
Obtain leads for pre-need services
Order music for arrangements
Order flowers for arrangements
Order catering for arrangements
Scan photos for products
Create electronic presentations
Create on-line memorials
Set-up chairs for event
Set-up tables for event
Set-up décor for event
Clean event room post event
Identify property in need of repair
Deliver family memorabilia
Perform attendant duties
Represent location at community events
Promote market at community events
Apply licensure to business environment
