Must Have

Minimum of 3 years related experience as a Funeral Assistant, Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

What You'll Do.

conduct and direct bereavement rites

Confirm authorization to proceed with service arrangements

Ensure client families are informed of special recognition/services

Assist with funeral services

Coordinate parking of cars

Drive funeral vehicles

Assist at chapel and church services

photos and other personal

Set up and remove chairs

Provide aftercare including delivery of stationery

Provide information on insurance

health benefits and pension

Provide pre-arrangements for next of kin

Ensure potential pre-need referrals are shared with Family

Ensure adherence to all applicable professional

Prepare and accurately complete documents and online entries

Assist with general office duties

Assist with the maintenance of vehicles

Receive caskets and other funeral home supplies

Ensure refreshments are available
