What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Post-secondary education in fundraising, non-profit management, communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field, Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising in not-for-profit environments, Demonstrated experience in developing, managing and achieving fundraising targets, campaign budgets and donor pipelines, Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in individual giving, legacy/planned giving, and donor stewardship, Networking and proven donor relationship building skills with individuals, groups, corporations and communities, Demonstrated ability to think strategically, maintain confidentiality, exercise diplomacy, tact and good judgement, Exceptional ability in social media fundraising and marketing, Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and donor database/CRM systems, Written and verbal communication skills, Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail, A valid Ontario’s full G Driver’s License, A $2,000,000 minimum liability car insurance coverage, Completion of a successful Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check

Experience in sales and marketing considered an asset
What You'll Do.
Lead the development and implementation of fundraising strategies
Develop the annual fundraising strategy and plan
Manage a portfolio of prospective and current donors
Lead the development and management for support
Lead and align all communication and marketing efforts
Identify and pursue new funding opportunities
Plan and execute a social media strategy
Prepare funding proposals
Prepare grant applications
Prepare donor communications
Oversee the coordination and delivery of fundraising activities
Oversee the coordination and delivery of fundraising events
Identify opportunities for third-party fundraising
Identify opportunities for outreach
Serve as an ambassador by attending events
Share the organization’s mission impact
Encourage involvement
Cultivate and build meaningful relationships with individuals
