Role responsibilities include: review complex fund financial reporting deliverables completed by third party service providers to verify accuracy and resolves outstanding issues. Lead the development, implementation and administration of various strategic initiatives within the department**.** **Responsibilities:** * Performs analytical review of reports for medium complexity funds for accuracy. Validates results and performs control checks to ensure accurate results from service providers. Resolves data issues or requests for information. * Oversees the completion of the group's key deliverables. Reviews selected financial reports for accuracy. Manages dividend and capital gain distribution process and tax reporting functions as assigned. Analyzes financial reports, and researches and resolves items that exceed established tolerance levels. * Completes fund financial statements and reports for shareholder and regulatory reporting in accordance with local regulatory reporting requirements. Serves as escalation point of contact for the department. Shares knowledge and assists colleagues with problem resolution. * Identifies and documents any areas of control gaps. Recommends improvement measures and manages the strengthening and maintenance of the internal control framework. * Manages policies and procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations for process improvements.
