Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Salary : £39,500 + Excellent Benefits + Over 100 CPD Hours in First 3 Months. If you’re a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor, you could use your skills in a different way as a functional specialist. At Capita, we’re looking for compassionate and detail-oriented professionals to join our Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) as Functional Specialists. In this role, you’ll use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments and compile evidence-based reports that help the Northern Ireland Department for Communities (NIDFC) make informed decisions about benefit claims. What You’ll be doing : * Conduct telephone assessments and face-to-face functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions. * Compile clear, concise and factual medical reports - no treatment or diagnosis required. * Collaborate with regional managers and administrators to meet service level agreements. * Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing. * Embrace ongoing feedback and professional development. What We’re Looking for : * One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor * Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, GMC), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN * Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills. * Proficiency in Microsof
